*This is the restaurant that breaks the midtown rule book as referenced in other notes (notably Milos). You are served by your Italian American granddad, you eat a shrimp cocktail, and you follow that with a steak and sides to share ‘family style’…have the creamed spinach and the fries. What else are you going to have? It’s full of NY-ers, tourists, and on my visit a child’s birthday celebration (the child was the only one under 21). It’s expensive, of course it is, but you won’t forget it. And it’s got a friendly care and warmth which is mostly missing in midtown restaurants.
